SYNOPSIS Eight-year-old Lena is fascinated by space; her favorite book describes the secret connection between people and stars. As a solar eclipse nears, her father takes her to watch the event. The true meaning of the lines from Lena‘s book becomes clear when the rare spectacle of nature changes the lives of father and daughter forever.

JAN PRAZAK-ZOUFALY Screenwriter & Director

Jan Prazak, born in 1991, grew up in Vienna. At 17 years old he won the „Verdrängen, Vergessen, Verzeihen“ literature price. His text „Der Mann aus der Zukunft“ was then performed at the „Theater in der Josefstadt“ with Karl Markovics in the leading part. He studied German Studies and went on to study directing at the Film Academy Vienna in 2011, under the lead of Michael Haneke. His short films have been shown at numerous international festivals.
