The size of the plates were precisely defined and match the base of the optical bench which had never been changed. Avoid 3rd. party cameraplates from manufacturers who are not 100% compatible with ARCA-SWISS cameraplates. (ARCA-like, ARCA-type etc...)

Die classic und die flipLock® ausführung bestehen aus einem profil mit doppeltem schwalbenschwanz, was sowohl die befestigung der monoball®classic als auch die der monoball®fix kameraplatten erlaubt. The classic and flipLock® systems are equipped with a double dovetail so that you can fit the classic camera plates in the upper dovetail and the monoball®fix in the lower dovetail. Furthermore, ARCA-SWISS cameras can be fitted directly onto the tripod head without the need for a extension bracket.

The Variokit adapts to all cameras including the newest ones available today. To begin with, the longer base plate will allow the photographer to adjust the camera forwards and backwards for better balance. Nodal point discovery in panoramic photography is also now possible, even with longer focal lengths.

Mit dem ARCA-SWISS L-bracket kann jede Kamera beliebig im Hoch- oder Querformat auf dem Stativ befestigt und exakt auf die optische Achse zentriert werden. Der Vertikalarm kann schnell und einfach aus der Stativbefestigung herausgezogen werden, und übrig bleibt eine praktische Schnellkupplung, die an der Kamera verbleiben kann. Ein Vertikalarm kann mit verschiedenen Kameras verwendet werden. Wird ein Stativ benutzt, kann die Kamera blitzschnell entfernt werden, um aus freier Hand fotografieren zu können. Ebenso schnell kann die Kamera wieder auf das stativ gesetzt und von Quer ins Hochformat umgestellt werden.

The ARCA-SWISS L-bracket allows one to adjust the camera horizontally and vertically, while maintaining the optical center It’s very quick and easy to remove the vertical arm of the L-Bracket to reveal the camera plate that connects the L-Bracket to the bottom of your camera. One vertical arm can be used with different cameras. If you’re using a tripod and the L-Bracket and want to work handheld, the camera can be released in seconds, making it quick and easy to flip from one to the other, so that you can fit the classic camera plates in the upper dovetail . Furthermore, ARCA-SWISS cameras, both monorail and R-cameras can be fitted directly onto the tripod head without the need for a mounting plate.
