Material you need... You can use any kind of fabric like cotton, jersey, stretchy fabric, Interlock, plush, sweat fabric, fleece, panne velvet and waterproof fabric, for example for swimming trousers. You can also use a waterproof fabric instead of the fleece insert and use jersey for the outside trouser. I recommend sewing a specimen out of a similar material first.

* For a specimen similar material, which you can spare * Tight elastic band 5-7 mm breit width and around 80 cm long with good resilience, otherwise the fabric cannot be ruffled nicely. * Jersey press buttons At least 14, but 20 in total would be better. You can use metallic or plastic buttons with counterparts and you will need a few more for the specimen. They could be plastic press buttons, for example Kam Snaps...
