marked

who we are 'marked' was founded in 2015 as a one man electro-pop-project with the target just to create music. in 2016 there was one show in bern, the capital of switzerland, directly in front of the parliament at the GAYWEST Festival. for the release of the actual album, mark asked his buddy david to join- for the 'green grass' video and for any show performances. now we are in two and hungry for the stage !

david schwindling, born on july,26th 1983 in germany is a professional actor and dancer and the head and heart of marked's stage performance

we are MARKED

together we are marked and we just get up to go on stage and do what we love: singing, dancing, entertaining and spreading love, peace and tolerance with our performances

the new album 'expectations was released on june 9th and reached no 24 in the swiss sms download charts the first day!

about our music

the first single was 'green grass', describing a guy that was left from his love for an other guy. we also did a very nice video clip for this release, full of homo erotic shots and we love thinking back to the day we filmed it- it was so much fun! who do we want to reach with our stuff? we do not want to get pressed in a drawer, like we would do music just for guys, gay people or what ever. we even do not know in which language we should sing :-) kidding, after the first album everybody came, asking me why not singing in german also. so we mixed it up now with english lyrics and, hell yes, we like both! music should reach everybody who's open for it. we are very poppy, electronic and we love beats! and tracks are not written with a template, just use the flow if you have one. we just wanna make people having a good time, maybe speaking out of their hearts and- very important- having fun! in this state, this project is situated right now, we are not performing because of the money. we do everything by ourselves, without a major label in the back. so we pay also our bills by ourselves and we love it to be free- even if it would be nice to get the turnaround one day.

we do sing political stuff, we do love stuff, we do broken hearted stuff (we do mostly to be honest) we do gay stuff ('leben' from the new album is a coming out song) we don't want to be pressed in any drawer also here

what do we want now?

we want to spend a lot of time on stage. nowadays even the gay pride promoters think they just can rock their events with big names. a pitty for artists like us.. this is why we want to introduce ourselves today to you ! we would be more than grateful to receive the chance to play a show (or even more) for you
