FR L’aventure, qui avait commencé dans un sous-sol en 2007, par la reconversion expérimentale de freins de cyclomoteur, d’une machine à traire et de vieux cylindres, a connu, dès 2009, un énorme succès sur le salon SILMO de Paris avec l’attribution du Silmo d’Or pour la catégorie „Innovation Technologique“ à une jeune entreprise du Tyrol. The ROLF Spectacles team combines a love of design, fascination for wood and the enthusiasm to create new things which have never existed before. This resulted in the ROLF Spectacles range: Glasses made from wood, bamboo and wood / stone combinations. Perfect wood glasses are made from layered wood veneer, specially sealed and have a wooden hinge that allows us to completely avoid the use of metal and plastic. The glasses are fixed using a unique method.
