When WERDEN is the ONLY VERB, it means TO BECOME. 1. She’s becoming a dancer. Sie wird Tänzerin. 2. He’s becoming a doctor. Er wird Arzt. 3. We’re becoming nurses. Wir werden Krankenschwestern. 4. They’re becoming teachers. Sie werden Lehrer.
